“Supports BC3” is not a complete answer
FIEBDC lists applications and versions declared by its members. For example, it lists FIEBDC-3/2024 support from Presto 2026 onwards. Check your particular edition, configuration and the import and export functions you intend to use as well.
Prepare a useful compatibility test
Use a small but varied sample. Note the source and destination applications and versions; compare hierarchy, units, descriptions, measurement lines and amounts. Test progress valuations too if they matter to your exchange. Keep both the original and the result so differences can be diagnosed.
Choose the workflow from the result
If an application opens the estimate but loses required fields, define what can be transferred and what needs another route. An ERP integration should relate BC3 codes to project, purchasing and cost data without turning a partial import into the sole source of truth.
