Valuations and invoices do different jobs

A progress valuation measures work completed and approved for a period. The invoice is the tax document issued afterwards. Linking them avoids retyping lines, but cumulative quantities, approvals and contract changes must be retained to explain the invoiced amount.

02

What the published deadlines say

Spain’s tax agency says invoicing systems must be adapted before 1 January 2027 for corporate taxpayers and before 1 July 2027 for the other taxpayers in scope. Check the official source when planning an implementation because requirements and deadlines may change.

03

Prepare the data handoff

Identify the approved valuation behind each invoice, the items and variations it includes, and amounts already valued. BC3 can provide technical structure, while the invoicing application must meet the fiscal requirements that apply to it. Test the complete path from item to invoice without losing traceability.
